(2) Technicians ( Precision Assembler Level 2)

Job Description:
This position will be responsible for:
• Assembly of parts & equipment according to operational procedures sheets, giving instructions to and controlling junior assemblers.
• Installs piping and sets seals to match drawings. Operates lathe machine, milling machine, drill presses, measuring equipment, hydraulic torque tools and high pressure testing equipment.
• Perform basic and complex machining.
• Understands test procedures.
• Verify inventory received against BOM per job prior to assembly of equipment.
• Will be involved in Total Quality management and work in a team environment.
• Responsible for the final quality control of manufactured parts prior to shipping and delivery of equipment
QUAUFICATION:
Required:
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 years related mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics
• Ability to read, write, and interpret manuals and instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret manufacturing drawing
• Ability to use electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and hand tools.
• Ability to use measuring equipment, ie: Micrometer, Bore Gage, Dial Indicator, etc.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to work in a team oriented and CIP environment and be a contributing member.
• Good Math Skills.
• Able to understand requirements to build pump and related equiment.
• Previous experience in mechanical or assembly work essential.
• Good mechanical ability and manual skillfulness essential.
• Will be required to interact directly with customers.
• Welding experience a plus
• Able to accomplish tasks in dependently and unsupervised with little help
