An Established Oil Company (PSC) in Indonesia is searching a qualified candidates for permanent position based in Jakarta :

Senior Commercial Analyst

The Commercial Discipline plays a pivotal role in delivering performance today and in securing access to future opportunities.

Our purpose is to:
- shape and implement strategy through establishing robust business plans, evaluating investment opportunities and managing performance:
- deliver commercial operational management including specialist areas of hydrocarbon transportation and regulatory compliance and administration:
- create deals and contractual arrangements to manage risk and reward in the access, exploration, development and operational phases of the business.
Role synopsis::
- Senior Commercial Analyst is engaged in many business areas within and across these business cycles, which include: economic analysis to decide and optimize projects, evaluate and interpret risk and reward; engage in the development of long term plans and strategy, business forecasts, result analysis and performance management.
Key accountabilities:
- A solid team player and strong networking and communication skills with all levels of the organization:
- Demonstrate a "can do" attitude and ability to take on challenging assignments and complete them on-time and with high quality:
- Able to grasp complex commercial issues and multiple data feeds:
- Experience in long term planning, strategy development and economic modelling:
- Able to prioritize/deliver within a role that involves conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
Essential Education:
- At minimum a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Commerce/Accounting from a reputable university.
Essential experience and job requirements:
- Minimum 10 years work experience- A solid team player and strong networking and communication skills with all levels of the organization:
- Demonstrate a "can do" attitude and ability to take on challenging assignments and complete them on-time and with high quality:
- Able to grasp complex commercial issues and multiple data feeds:
- Experience in long term planning, strategy development and economic modelling:
- Able to prioritize/deliver within a role that involves conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
Other essential skills and knowledge:
- Strong communication skill in English
Desirable criteria & qualifications:
- Exhibit good financial awareness and a basic understanding of accounting policies:
- Previous working environment in PSC (Production Sharing Contract)
